How can we possibly practice the mindfulness principle of acceptance now?!? A special lesson especially for teachers, academics, and folks in education.

A recording from Cassie Premo Steele's live video

In today’s Green Ink Live, I share why the mindfulness principle of acceptance is, as impossible as it seems to accept, one of the key pieces to resistance, resilience, and a rebirth of ourselves both individually and collectively.

I begin with poetry by Ocean Vuong, who so eloquently and sharply can reach those parts of ourselves that hide in the dark from fear and grief and unmet longing.

Then I discuss why all of this is especially important for teachers and writers and educators right now.

Here, in the summer, is the perfect time to reflect on your profession and how there might be a need for rebirth there, too.

There is more…

But instead of reading, just click the little arrow in the video and let yourself feel some acceptance and peace today.
